Apologies, I've gone through the forum back and forth but couldn't find threads for the albums apart from Forever and the GH.

I've just bought this vinyl on eBay and I'm so excited. Perfect full circle for me after seeing them live a couple weeks ago for the first time ever. 'Spice' was my first CD ever, my parents bought it for me when I was a little 8 years old boy in rural Portugal and it really jump-started my love for pop music and the British culture.

This album gave me SO MUCH - from the above to choreographies in school and even Spice role-play (I was always Simon Fuller - they even fired me!). Safe to say it's one of the best Pop albums of all time, if not the very best of the 90s at least.

wub.gif The first album I ever bought, at 8 years old! Clearly it was such a momentous moment in my life that I somehow remember the date and location of my purchase... laugh.gif 2nd January 1997 in Woolworths in Cardiff kink.gif It was on cassette; we didn't have a CD player back then. I played it soooo much that it ended up sounding quite warped.

What an album though, almost 23 years on and it still holds up as one of the best pop albums. Was great to see Love Thing, Something Kinda Funny & If U Can't Dance performed at the tour. heart.gif

The first proper album I ever owned (before that I had the American Tale soundtrack lol). I remember playing it non-stop, such a fab album. Spiceworld topped it for me though wub.gif (no easy feat)

What an album wub.gif The release of 'Spice' actually predated my birth by several months kink.gif I ended up discovering the album around 10 years after it was released via my parents' CD collection! I instantly fell in love with it and was itching to purchase their 'Greatest Hits' album after that initial listen, that quickly became the first Spice Girls related CD that was mine. My favourite album tracks are 'If U Can't Dance' and 'Naked', so as you can imagine I was ecstatic when the girls performed the former on their latest tour <3 a shame to not get the latter as I always really liked the chair choreography from previous tours.

As I type this I'm actually wearing my t-shirt with the logo of this album on it! Such an iconic girl-group release heart.gif
