Bring Me the Horizon Ludens ![]() Soundtrack single from Death Stranding: Timefall Released: 8th November 2019 Label: Sony Music Entertainment UK Video Biography Bring Me the Horizon, often known by the acronym BMTH, are an English rock band from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Formed in 2004, the group now consists of vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls and keyboardist Jordan Fish. They are signed to RCA Records globally and Columbia Records exclusively in the United States. The style of their early work, including their debut album Count Your Blessings, has been described primarily as deathcore, but they started to adopt a more eclectic style of metalcore on later albums. Furthermore, their latest album That's the Spirit marked a shift in their sound to less aggressive rock music styles. The band released their debut album Count Your Blessings in 2006. Upon release, the album's sound polarised listeners, and was met with critical disdain. The band began to break away from their controversial sound with Suicide Season (2008), which was a creative, critical and commercial turning point for the band. Bring Me the Horizon released their third album, There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret., in 2010, propelling them to greater international fame, whilst incorporating influences from classical, electronica and pop. Their major label debut, Sempiternal (2013) achieved Gold certification in Australia (35,000) and Silver in the United Kingdom (60,000). That's the Spirit (2015) debuted at number two in the UK Albums Chart and the US Billboard 200. As well as these five studio albums, they have also released two extended plays and two live albums. They have received four Kerrang! Awards, including two for Best British Band and one for Best Live Band. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History 2013 82 Shadow Moses -1- 2014 17 Drown -1- 2015 55 Happy Song -2- 2015 51 Throne -3- 2015 87 Doomed -AT- 2015 91 True Friends -4- 2015 95 Follow You -5- 2015 97 Avalanche -6- 2018 55 MANTRA -1- 2019 42 medicine -2- 2019 68 mother tongue -3- 2019 77 nihilist blues (feat. Missed the top 40 this week?
Tory Lanez and T-Pain Jerry Sprunger ![]() 1st single from Chixtape 5 Released: 8th November 2019 Label: Mad Love / Interscope Records Video Biography Tory Lanez Tory Lanez was one of the more versatile commercial artists to surface during the early 2010s. A songwriter and producer who flits between and fuses R&B and rap -- his vocals alternate between swift and rugged boasts and smooth and sensitive come-ons -- he made steady strides toward the mainstream with numerous mixtapes, guest appearances, and self-directed videos. He spent parts of his early life in Toronto, his birthplace, as well as in Montreal, Miami, Atlanta, and New York. Although he was known underground well before his 20th birthday, and was supported early on by Sean Kingston, he made some of his biggest moves in 2014. During that year, he was featured on "Me & My Bitch" -- a track off YG's Top Five album My Krazy Life -- and among his own tracks that circulated in 2014 was "The Mission," his first cut to hit Billboard's Twitter Emerging Artists chart. In July 2015, after he had signed an Interscope-affiliated deal with Benny Blanco's Mad Love label, he released "Say It," an R&B slow jam that sampled Brownstone's mid-'90s hit "If You Love Me" and peaked the following February at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. A handful of additional tracks, including the dancehall-flavored "Luv" -- his second Hot 100 placement -- led to his debut full-length, I Told You. Issued in August 2016, the album peaked at number five on the Billboard 200. "Luv" was later nominated for a Grammy in the category of Best R&B Song. Several singles, including the Future collaboration "Real Thing," followed during 2017 and early 2018 and led to his second album, MEMORIES DONT DIE. - iTunes T-Pain Faheem Najm's singing ability was on clear display in the first notes of his breakthrough R&B single "I'm Sprung," yet his recurrent use of Auto-Tune created a widespread ripple effect that left his performing name synonymous with voice modulation. The Tallahassee, Florida native came up as a rapper in a group called Nappy Headz. As a solo artist, he went pro as T-Pain after he recorded "I'm f***ed Up," a personalized take on Akon's "Locked Up." Akon heard it and signed T-Pain to the Jive/Zomba-supported Konvict Muzik label. The self-produced and self-written "I'm Sprung," T-Pain's proper debut single, was released in August 2005 and went Top Ten pop and R&B/hip-hop. That December, the album Rappa Ternt Sanga arrived, supported by the follow-up single "I'm 'n Luv (Wit a Stripper)," another Top Ten hit on multiple Billboard charts. The two singles earned RIAA platinum certifications, and the parent full-length eventually went gold, situating T-Pain as a major breakthrough artist of the mid-2000s. The success wasn't a fluke. During the next several years, as Auto-Tune usage became increasingly common in commercial music -- used more frequently to mask vocal deficiency than as the equivalent of an effect pedal for a guitar -- T-Pain continued to make hits. Through 2012, a period that involved the guest-loaded albums Epiphany, Thr33 Ringz, and rEVOLVEr, he entered the pop Top Ten as a lead artist four additional times, highlighted by the chart-topping "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')." Through assists on songs such as Chris Brown's "Kiss Kiss," Kanye West's "Good Life," Jamie Foxx's "Blame It," and Pitbull's "Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor)," his name was either near or at the top position with even greater frequency. Additionally, "Good Life" and "Blame It" made T-Pain a two-time Grammy Award winner. After the 2014 compilation Happy Hour: The Greatest Hits, T-Pain promised a fifth album titled Stoicville, but by mid-2017, he'd released only singles, including collaborations with Juicy J, Lil Yachty, and Young M.A. That November, he released the gleefully hedonistic full-length Oblivion on RCA with appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, and Wale. The following year, he issued the double-volume mixtapes Everything Must Go. The Auto-Tune maestro returned in 2019 with his sixth proper full-length, 1Up, which featured the single "Getcha Roll On" with Tory Lanez. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Tory Lanez 2016 47 Luv -1- 2018 85 B.I.D -PS- 2018 82 Drip Drip Drip (feat. ![]() Tom Walker Better Half Of Me ![]() 5th single from What A Time To Be Alive Released: 4th October 2019 Label: Relentless Records Chart Statistics NE (07/11/2019) | 70-54-40 Sales: 20k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 12 Sales __ Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video Biography Multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Tom Walker blends hip-hop-inspired beats, eclectic samples, and traditional songwriting in his music. Born in Scotland and raised in Manchester, England, Walker grew up listening to Ray Charles, the Police, and Bob Marley from his father's record collection, and taught himself how to play drums, guitar, piano, and bass. After studying songwriting at London's College of Contemporary Music, Walker began making music in earnest, collaborating with his housemates -- who included members of Whilk & Misky -- in their home studio. One of his songs, 2016's "Sun Goes Down," interpolated the '30s work song "I'll Be So Glad When the Sun Goes Down" and featured poet/musician Kojey Radical. The track earned acclaim and airplay on Radio 1, and Walker signed to Relentless soon after. His official debut single, "Fly Away with Me," arrived later that year. The Blessings EP was released in April 2017, along with a pair of singles, "Heartland" and "Leave a Light On." Walker started working with producer Mike Spencer on his debut album soon after, putting together 12 tracks of impeccably produced soulful, contemporary pop. Preceded by the singles "My Way" and "Angels," the album What a Time to Be Alive -- which took its title from the track "Blessings" -- was issued in late 2018. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2018 07 Leave A Light On -1- MILLIONAIRE 2018 80 Walk Alone (Rudimental feat. Leave a Light On was a solid song with a very grating vocal, while Just You and I was an improvement on the vocals but a much duller song. This takes the worst of both oops

![]() AJ Tracey featuring MoStack and Not3s Floss ![]() 6th single from AJ Tracey Released: 24th October 2019 Label: AJ Tracey Chart Statistics NE (07/11/2019) | 22-27-39 Sales: 30k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 60 Sales 42 Audio Streaming 11 Video Streaming Video Biography West London grime MC Che Wolton Grant (aka AJ Tracey) rose through the ranks of pirate radio, becoming one of the leading figures in U.K. grime's second generation of artists. Grant knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in music, due in part to his parents; not only was his dad a former rapper from Trinidad & Tobago, his mother was a former drum'n'bass DJ from Wales. By age six, Grant had started writing rhymes, coinciding with the first great boom in grime. Although the genre temporarily lost its way, Grant soldiered on, unwilling to give up on his passion for grime. By the time he had reached his early twenties, grime had started another upswing. During this time Grant became proactive in his pursuit of radio spots, working his way up through pirate radio before scoring appearances on Rinse.DM, NTS, and eventually even BBC Radio One. With his reputation in the world of radio firmly cemented, Grant released a string of EPs, beginning with The Front EP in July 2015, followed by the Alex Moran EP later the same year. In 2016, he further solidified his status as an emerging talent, with a combination of solid collaborations, more radio appearances, and the release of the Lil Tracey EP. The end of 2016 culminated with Grant's nomination on BBC's Sound of 2017. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History AJ Tracey 2017 75 Quarterback (Secure The Bag!) -1- 2018 51 Mimi -NAS- 2018 69 London's Calling (GRM Daily feat. He attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford as an undergraduate from the age of 18 in 2009. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified seven-times platinum in the UK. The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John. His second studio album, x (pronounced "multiply"), was released in June 2014. It peaked at number one in the UK and the US, and was named the second-best-selling album worldwide of 2015. In 2015, x won the Brit Award for Album of the Year, and he received the Ivor Novello Award for Songwriter of the Year from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors. His single from x, "Thinking Out Loud", earned him two Grammy Awards at the 2016 ceremony: Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Sheeran's third album, ÷ (pronounced "divide"), was released in March 2017. The album debuted at number one in the UK, the US and other major markets, and was the best-selling album worldwide of 2017. The first two singles from the album, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill", were released in January 2017 and broke records in a number of countries, including the UK, Australia and Germany, by debuting in the top two positions of the charts. He also became the first artist to have two songs debut in the US top 10 in the same week. By March 2017, Sheeran had accumulated ten top 10 singles from ÷ on the UK Singles Chart, breaking the record for most top 10 UK singles from one album. His fourth single from ÷, "Perfect", reached number one in the US, Australia and the UK, where it became the Christmas number one in 2017. Sheeran has sold more than 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. Two of his albums are in the list of the best-selling albums in UK chart history: x at number 20, and ÷ at number 34. Beginning in March 2017, his ÷ Tour is the highest-grossing of all time by a solo artist. An alumnus of the National Youth Theatre in London, as an actor Sheeran has portrayed a recurring role on The bast*rd Executioner, and in 2019, he appeared in the Richard Curtis/Danny Boyle film Yesterday. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History Ed Sheeran 2011 03 The A Team -1- MILLION SELLER 2011 35 Hush Little Baby (Wretch 32 feat. Formed in 2009, the pair eschewed the traditional quest for major-label interest, concentrating instead on spreading the word via social media, and eventually via their own label and clothing line, Play Dirty. It was a 2010 mixtape titled Tsunami that initially turned the heads of a significant number of people, before their cover of Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Otis" racked up millions of YouTube views in less than a week in early 2011. When a gunman burst into Konan's mother's home that summer, injuring her and fatally shooting his stepfather, the duo subsequently dealt with the incident in the autobiographical "My Story." Later that year, the Tottenham-born grime artist Skepta invited them to open for him in Glasgow. Although this was effectively Krept & Konan's first gig, it cemented a relationship between the three, and Skepta continued to promote their music online, as did such luminaries of the U.K. scene as Wretch 32 and Professor Green. Momentum was built by way of holding off the official release of any further material until the September 2013 mixtape Young Kingz surfaced. The album managed to reach the U.K. Top 20 with an almost nonexistent marketing budget, and featured appearances from artists such as Giggs, Chip, and Tinie Tempah. A year later the group signed with Def Jam, and released The Long Way Home on the label in 2015. The album featured guest spots from Ed Sheeran, Rick Ross, and Wiz Khalifa, and debuted at number two on the U.K. albums chart. The duo returned in 2017 with two simultaneously released mixtapes. 7 Days was the more club oriented of the two, and featured guest spots from Skepta and Stormzy; 7 Nights had more of an R&B flavor and featured appearances from Hudson East and Tony Lanez. - iTunes D-Block Europe Delivering hazy trap and hedonistic rap verses on tracks such as "Gucci Mane" from their 2018 debut Any Minute Now, D-Block Europe are a London-based rap duo featuring Dirtbike LB and Young Adz. The two rappers met while at school in South London — LB was impressed with the skill Adz exemplified on his first track "Da Prodigy," released when he was just 13. The pair struck up a friendship, with Adz going on to sign a deal with Universal and gaining a following with his mixtapes. The pair began to collaborate in 2014; however, they decided to spend the next two years honing their craft to achieve a unique mix for their project. They made their first appearance in 2017, releasing the singles "Love of the Money" and "Large Amounts" on D-Block Records. The duo gained recognition with the tracks and with continuous support from the BBC's Fire in the Booth and the Westwood Crib Sessions. The two went on to work with various other artists including Not3s and Don Andre. D-Block Europe released their debut LP, Any Minute Now, which featured Yxng Bane in July 2018. Their second mixtape, Home Alone, arrived in early 2019 and featured guest appearances from the likes of Nafe Smallz and M Huncho. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Krept & Konan 2015 09 Freak Of The Week (feat.
