US Soccer is currently being sued by the USWNT for gender discrimination because they get paid less than the mens team.

- They said, and I quote, "the hostility of fans at home crowds for the MNT in some friendlies can be unlike anything the WNT face"; they're referencing the mens team vs. Mexico game last year in which there was like 3 USA fans as compared to the Mexican ones.

- US Soccer then went on to argue that women are inferior when it comes to skill, speed, and responsibility.

Phil Neville is to leave his role as England women's manager next summer.

The 43-year-old former Manchester United and Everton defender was appointed in January 2018 on a contract until the summer of 2021.

He led the Lionesses to a first SheBelieves Cup success and a fourth-place finish at the World Cup in 2019.

But since last year's quarter-final win over Norway, they have lost seven of 11 games and failed to retain their SheBelieves Cup title in March.

The postponed 2021 Women's European Championship will take place from 6-31 July 2022, Uefa has confirmed.

The tournament, to be held in England, has been pushed back after the men's European Championship and the Tokyo Olympics were both postponed until 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The intention is to use the same venues as the original tournament.

Arsenal Women have been fined £50,000 for "an act of discrimination" in dismissing an employee "by reason of disability" in 2014.

Some members of Arsenal staff will also be required to undertake an education programme.

The Women's Super League club denied the allegation, which related to the exit of former junior coach Robin Carpenter in 2014.

Several private equity firms have expressed interest in buying a stake in the Womenís Super League, including global investors Bridgepoint

Bridgepoint, who own the rights to MotoGP, have made an approach, reportedly for a large minority share.

The Premier League remains in talks over a potential WSL takeover.

Run by the Football Association, the WSL is England's top women's division with 12 full-time, professional teams.

ďAs the WSL continues to grow and thrive there is considerable commercial interest from a variety of sectors," an FA spokesperson said.

Bridgepoint have been contacted for a response.

A group including Serena Williams will fund a new Los Angeles-based women's team to launch in time for the 2022 National Women's Soccer League season.

Tennis great Williams joins several other high-profile women, including Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman, in founding the female-majority group.

The team name and home venue are yet to be decided, but the ownership group has called itself 'Angel City'.

There is currently no California-based team in the NWSL.

NWSL commissioner Lisa Baird says the league has "long sought" an LA-based team, which already has a "massive" interest in women's football.

Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of tech company Reddit, is part of the ownership group. The couple's two-year-old daughter Olympia is also listed as an owner.

Among the group too are 14 former US national team players, actresses Eva Longoria, Jennifer Garner, Uzo Aduba, Jessica Chastain and America Ferrera, plus investors from the technology and media sectors.

Tottenham Hotspur Women have appointed England assistant coach Rehanne Skinner as their new first-team boss after sacking previous co-head coaches Karen Hills and Juan Amoros on Thursday.

Former Arsenal coach Skinner was part of Lionesses head coach Phil Neville's backroom team in the national setup.

She has agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract at Spurs until the end of the 2022-23 Women's Super League campaign.
