Chart Commentary

"Hello and welcome once again to the Top 40 Countdown by awardinary. 2020 is here and in marks a new era of favourite music by me, myself and I. The last chart made took us back to September 2018, so over a year has passed and so much new dance music marks it's debut on this chart!

Straight in at #1 this week is one of the hottest production teams around right now, CamelPhat, whose music video for Rabbit Hole was released this week and helped to propel this song right to the top of the chart. It follows a host of impressive singles and remixes from the DJ's in 2018 and 2019. Looking forward to what 2020 has to offer from these guys!

Elsewhere there are many fine entries into this Top 40 countdown from the likes of Solardo, Fisher, DJ Fresh, Sigala, Meduza and many more to look over too from recent weeks and months.

It's no surprise that for my first personal chart return I select the current #1 single as the Track Of The Week! Hopefully many more to come in the coming weeks!"
