This indie pop tune from Texas duo Surfaces has entered the Spotify chart today - hopefully it's a future big hit.

It reminds me a lot of AJR, wouldn't be surprised if they were some sort of influence on it.

Their third album 'Horizons' releases tonight (Sunday Best is from their second album which came out last year) - I've been enjoying their other music, lots of it sounds more indie-based, reminds me of Rex Orange County.

And this looks to go top 40 officially soon!

I did give their new album a listen, and I ended up enjoying all the tracks more than this. (definitely more indie-based) - though this is still quite good.

They're really strong live! I think I might prefer this version to the original (a live version is also out on streaming today)
