Let’s start with this
Where we defeated France 1-0 at Hampden Park and won 1-0 in France also. In typical Scottish fashion we got beat against Georgia and finished third behind Italy and France. |

This was incredibly iconic, England were winning 1-0 with ten minutes to go. Scotland then came back to lead 2-1 and England scored in the last minute after an awful attempt of a counter attack which should have made it 3-1. |

Yes,I remember Dundee United and Aberdeen doing really well in Europe in the 1980s. Aberdeen managed to win the European Cup Winners' Cup.
