On the singles chart, could it be a ninth week at #1 for The Weeknd, or will Michael Ball/Captain Tom Moore/Voices of Care Choir's cover of You'll Never Walk Alone hit the top spot? Sam Smith & Demi Lovato drop their new collab I'm Ready, and there's new tracks from Playboi Carti, Tiesto/Becky Hill, Joji and Jamie xx

Gerry Cinnamon looks set for a #1 debut with second album The Bonny. New releases include Enter Shikari's sixth LP Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible, Fiona Apple's return after eight years with Fetch the Bolt Cutters, DaBaby's BLAME IT ON BABY, plus albums from Nafe Smallz, EOB, dvsn and Rina Sawayama

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative.
- Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners.
- Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

YNWA has to be #1 this week. Can see Blinding Lights returning to #1 for a 4th time the week after.

It's gonna be interesting to see how well Michael can hold up through the week. He'll obviously be #1 today and most of the start of the week, but if the hype dies down and streaming picks up they could loose it

I think the Big Night In on Thursday night will help them over the line.

I still think The Weeknd will get it in the end, The Big Night In is on from 8:05 to 10:00pm a couple of hours before the cut off point of midnight might not be enough.

Edit that... One World is on tonight, didn't realise, could swing it towards YNWA

I think Michael & Captain Tom will get it - especially if they are #1 in the first set of mids then media will be all over it.

Minimal tbh - most artists didn’t sing their own songs and some of the biggest acts were on very late meaning lots of people missed them.

Vera Lynn was of course in the very first Official Chart in 1952, quite remarkable to see her in today's top 20 update!

Yes @ Vera making it into the top 20 on the First Look chart. I would have liked a play of We'll Meet Again.

Break Up Song showing the staying power I predicted.
