Why the f*** wasn't this a single in the UK? It's SUCH a bop and would've been an easy top 10 for her rather than 'We Ride' which flopped. My only guess is they wanted to leave a bit of a break before 'Umbrella'/Album Three but they still released it in the US where it went top 10. |

Major bop *.* Even though it sounds very dated now, I still really enjoy it. I'm definitely disappointed it didn't get pushed or chart in so many countries.

Interesting that it went Top 10, do American audiences even remember it?
It is a bit of a bop and I imagine it could have been a hit. I've not heard A Girl Like Me but this sounds like it could be at home on Good Girl Gone Bad. |
