Afternoon all hi.gif I have the day off work today, so I can listen live wub.gif mostly intrigued about the week 2 position for 'Stuck with U'!

Retro top 3s:

2019
01. Jax Jones & Martin Solveig present Europa - All Day And Night (feat. Madison Beer)
02. Bille Eilish - bad guy
03. Lil Nas X - Old Town Road

'All Day And Night' was a personal chart #1 for me last year heart.gif love the throwback dancefloor sound to it - very 'Insomnia'-esque. 'Tequila' doesn't do it for me at all so I hope the Europa project can return to releasing gems like this again.

2015
01. Galantis - Runaway (U & I)
02. Taylor Swift - Bad Blood (feat. Kendrick Lamar)
03. Major Lazer & DJ Snake - Lean On (feat. M)

I'm still mad that 'Bad Blood's peak was hampered by Taylor's resistance to Spotify back in the day - as good as #4 is. 'Bad Blood' was initially my least favourite (!) on 1989 but the remix completely turned the song on its head for me and now I love it. What an era!

2010
01. Edward Maya - Stereo Love (feat. Vika Jigulina)
02. Roll Deep - Good Times
03. Aggro Santos - Candy (feat. Kimberly Wyatt)

Have you been to visit me at Aggrosantos.com? a cultural reset

2005
01. Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.
02. Black Eyed Peas - Don't Phunk With My Heart
03. Kaiser Chiefs - Everyday I Love You Less And Less

Okay the good songs are really starting to creep up now ohmy.gif 'Don't Phunk With My Heart' is my favourite BEPs song, I love the quirky instrumentation and ber catchy chorus. 'Everyday I Love You Less And Less' is a banger too - I'm here for the chaotic energy and charging synths! Love 'Owner Of A Lonely Heart' too. <3

2000
01. Britney Spears - Oops!...I Did It Again
02. Madison Avenue - Don't Call Me Baby
03. Billie - Day and Night

I'm not that keen on Billie's material in general but 'Day and Night' is an exception, very Britney!

Jonas Brothers featuring KAROL G
X

2nd single from sixth studio album
Released: 15th May 2020
Label: Jonas Brothers Recording

Video

Biography

The Jonas Brothers are an American pop rock band. Formed in 2005, they gained popularity from their appearances on the Disney Channel television network. They consist of three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas. Raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey, the Jonas Brothers moved to Little Falls, New Jersey, in 2005, where they wrote their first record that made its Hollywood Records release. In the summer of 2008, they starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and its sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. They also starred as Kevin, Joe, and Nick Lucas from the band, JONAS, in their own Disney Channel series Jonas, which was rebranded as Jonas L.A. after the first season and cancelled after the second. The band have released five albums: It's About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), A Little Bit Longer (2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times (2009), and Happiness Begins (2019).

In 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards. As of May 2009, before the release of Lines, Vines and Trying Times, they had sold over eight million albums worldwide. After a hiatus during 2010 and 2011 to pursue solo-projects, the group reconciled in 2012 to record a new album, which was cancelled following their break-up on October 29, 2013.

They have sold over 17 million albums worldwide as of 2013. Six years following their split, the group reunited with the release of "Sucker" on March 1, 2019. The song became the 34th song in history to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and became the Jonas Brothers' first number one single on the chart. A month later, they released their second single titled "Cool" on April 5, 2019. Their fifth studio album, Happiness Begins, was released on June 7, 2019, topping the US Billboard 200.

TWO new entries to the YouTube top 5 chart yet Baby Shark STILL hangs on :')

The fact Think About Things even had a chance to enter the top 40 is remarkable when you consider we haven't had any Eurovision entries manage that for a good few years even with a contest laugh.gif

if Eurovision took place maybe Dadi could've gone Top 20, considering what replaced it didn't even get half the audience that a regular contest would have.

1- NOTHIN ON YOU- B.o.B Ft Bruno Mars (85,333)

I really liked B.O.B and thought he was such an interesting and versatile rapper. It's still so weird to me that he had two big #1 singles and some other hits and then just faded away completely after his Taylor Swift collab.

This was a great song and introduction to both artists.

Biography

Sam Smith
Distinctively emotive, soul-inspired vocalist Sam Smith has been among the most commercially successful artists to arrive during the early 2010s. Prior to their breakthrough at the age of 21, the London-born singer and songwriter balanced their studies and music, sang in choirs and in bands, and performed in musical theater productions. They developed a passionate approach to singing exemplified by their favorite artists at that time: Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Chaka Khan. They were barely out of their teens when, in late 2012, they appeared as the featured vocalist on "Latch," the fourth single by production duo Disclosure. A loping mixture of U.K. garage and contemporary dance-pop, the song went to number 11 in the U.K. Over in the U.S., it took significantly longer to take hold, but eventually hit number seven there and was certified platinum three times over.

The singer's debut solo single, released in February 2013, took a more tempered path. Produced by the favor-returning Disclosure, "Lay Me Down" recalled the stripped-back material that had proved successful for Adele. Only three months later, producer/songwriter Shahid "Naughty Boy" Khan followed his Emeli Sand-fronted U.K. Top Ten hit "Wonder" with "La La La," featuring a powerful lead vocal from Smith (who had just finished a series of dates in support of Sand). It was an instant number one U.K. hit. In October 2013, Smith issued the Nirvana EP, which included an acoustic reading of "Latch," and by the end of February 2014 they were back at the top of the U.K. chart with "Money on My Mind," which inventively married their relaxed vocal with a frenetic beat. Smith's debut full-length, In the Lonely Hour, was released that May in the U.K., and topped the album chart. It arrived in the U.S. the following month and peaked at number two there. The singles "Stay with Me," "I'm Not the Only One," and "Lay Me Down" hit the Top Ten in both the U.K. and U.S. In the Lonely Hour led to awards from organizations as varied as the BRITs, the Grammys, Billboard, and BET. It was the second best-selling album of 2014 in the U.K. and U.S., behind only titles by Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.

In 2015, Smith recorded another Disclosure collaboration, "Omen," eventually placed on the duo's Caracal. Smith also earned the honor of being chosen to record the theme for a James Bond film. "Writing's on the Wall," recorded for the Spectre soundtrack, was the first Bond theme to go to number one in the U.K. An expanded version of In the Lonely Hour, the "Drowning Shadows Edition," was released that November with new material and previously released stray tracks added to the original album content. Following Golden Globe and Academy Award wins for "Writing's on the Wall," Smith spent most of 2016 and early 2017 in the studio recording their follow-up album with previous collaborators Jimmy Napes and Steve Fitzmaurice. "Too Good at Goodbyes," the lead single from their second album, was issued in September 2017. The ballad went to number one in the U.K. and the Top Five in the U.S. just prior to the release of The Thrill of It All the following month. In 2018, they released the single "Fire on Fire" as part of the soundtrack to the BBC and Netflix animated miniseries Watership Down, based on the 1972 Richard Adams novel. The year 2019 saw the release of a pair of Smith singles: the Normani collaboration "Dancing with a Stranger" and the solo cut "How Do You Sleep?"
