Yay for Dađi Freyr getting top 50! cheer.gif Out of interest, does anyone know when was the last time a non-winning Eurovision song reached the top 40? All the websites I've tried only show the winners.

The Common Linnets in 2014. Only one year earlier than the last Eurovision winner that made the top 40, and it actually charted higher than every recent winner bar Loreen at that.

Shame that Dađi just missed out but it charting as high as #43 without Eurovision even happening is pretty astonishing.

Paradise Lost No 3 in the Sales chart which is great for them but also depressing given the low sales. Also No 2 in Germany

Dadi Freyr No 8 on Sales which is impressive for a Eurovision song. Any chance he could hold up next week ?

Thank you! I wonder how high Dađi could have been if the contest had gone ahead.

Polo G getting a top 10 album is pretty impressive seeming some of the artists who have missed out recently (Yxng Bane, DigDat, Nafe Smallz, Childish Gambino, Lil Wayne, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & NAV are all feel like bigger names).

He only managed to get 1 charting song from the album too.

Indeed, #6 seems like a surprisingly high position for Polo G. Also interesting to compare to Lil Tjay (as they both first broke into the mainstream with the same song) whose album charted at #22 and his EP last week only got to #60. And it coming very close to beating Future who is not only a much more established name but also had a massive hit single this year!

Obviously the even more tragic sales than usual are helping a bit but still laugh.gif
