Apparently starts tomorrow, didn't realise the two Grand Tours were going to overlap this year!
Obviously the big name in it is Froome, although Roglic will probably be the favourite. Mas and Valverde will also be making an impact for Movistar. |

Oops @ Bahrain-McLaren sending three times as many British riders to the race as the actual British team Of course they didn't send any riders from Bahrain themselves but that's to be expected.

All change at the top yesterday, shame the weather meant we didn't see any of it Here for Carthy being so high up though, another underrated British talent and for once not one from the INEOS megabus.

Roglic back up to second today, with Martin down to third and Carthy to 4th. Shame we have to get through a few flat stages before the next GC battle (although I'm sure the riders will be delighted )

Carthy winning on top of the Angliru Well that was unexpected! Underrated British riders really taking the front this year.

A handy 6 seconds for Roglic today going into the big stage tomorrow! Shame to see Tanfield pull out though as he is probably my favourite of the new wave of British riders.
Also I don't think I've heard Guillaume Martin be interviewed before - he has such a stereotypical French accent |
