Wow, this was always an unexpected collaboration at the time, certainly wouldn't have expected to see another, especially as Texas have become even more MOR with their recent albums.
I think it's the most instant single they've put out in a while though. Although the melody chords are basically the same as Summer Son? |

not familiar with the original, but sounds good, it's a smart use of the sample (=the Ava Max influence)
