Is Last Of Part II truly game of the year?? I heard there was a lot of criticism surrounding it aka it was not interesting story wise as first game

The vast majority of the criticism I believe was aimed by the right-wing at Abby and how "woke" and "PC" the game was is trying to be.

The Last Of Us Part ll, did really well.
Wasn't a surprise to see Animal Crossing claim best family game either.
I feel like if it game of the year hadn't went to The Last If Us, it would have went to Animal Crossing.
