Quite an interesting list here! 1. Kanye West 2. Sarah Harding 3. Russell Watson 4. Bugzy Malone 5. Grimes 6. Duffy 7. Meghan Trainor 8. Wiley 9. Nicola Roberts 10. HRVY All of these I can think of why they'd be here (reality shows and focus in the news mainly), but I can't think of why Meghan Trainor would be up here? |

Love seeing two Girls Aloud members on the list, though I wish Sarah featured for better reasons

Basically none of these are on the list for reasons related to their actual music. Lol ~
(I had to look up Russell Watson which shows how little I paid attention to I'm A Celebrity this year oops) I saw a similar list to this for the US (or possibly worldwide, I forget) and it had Shakira at #1, which seemed pretty odd until realising that her Super Bowl performance - which feels like ancient history at this point - was in fact this year. |

Russell Watson has the best selling album and even that barely scraped the top ten. Ye of course will do better when he releases.

I'm surprised there aren't any up there for actually releasing music though, like Taylor Swift for example with folklore coming out of nowhere.

If you type all of these people's names on the Google trends website you will be able to see which period of the year specifically that the most searches were made for them which will help make it clearer why they got so many searches.
