Ex F1 driver Romain Grosjean has joined Dale-Coyne for the 2021 and will race for n all 13 road and street courses this year. He has perhaps wisely elected not to compete at any of the oval tracks.
Frankly, I’d be concerned with him as a complete rookie on a super speedway given his penchant for reckless moves.

Sunday sees the launch of the new FIA Extreme E series of electric powered SUVs racing in remote parts of the world. I assume the TV rights have been given away for free, because the first race from Saudi Arabia is being shown live on five different channels at the same time:

BT Sport 1
Eurosport 2
ITV
Sky Sports Action
Sky Sports Mix

Sky Sports F1 channel on youtube is showing todats Moncao Historique GP where Grand Prix and F1 cars from pre-war to the 70s will be racing.

Some absolutely beautiful machines in there and a chance to see how the Monaco GP was when the cars weren't so huge and could actually pass each other

Haas F1's test driver Pietro Fittipaldi, standing in for Romain Grosjean, has instigated a 7 car pile up on the opening lap of this weekend's 2nd Indycar race in Texas.

Some serious questions about his ability right now

Former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas will make his World Rally Championship debut in Portugal.

Villas-Boas, who dramatically departed Marseille in March, will drive a Citroen C3 in WRC3, the third tier of the championship for privateer cars.

Felix Rosenqvist is currently receiving medical attention follwing a huge crash in race 1 at Detroit this evening. It appears his throttle stuck open and he hit the concrete wall head on at turn 6. He was doing approximately 95mph.

He was conscious throughout his lengthy extrication from the car.

Instantly reminded of Schumacher at Silverstone in '98.

What a bizarre accident that is!!

I channel surfed yesterday and accidentally found round 1 lap 2 of the new DTM season!! Quite an enjoyable race. Wee kiwi lad on the Red Bull programme took the win. Recorded the second one today (they’re at Monza for the first round. Was nice to see a Ferrari win in Monza again yesterday) and just watching some of it before the Italy Wales Match. Think will be a fun addition to my Rotation. I used to adore the BTCC in the late 90‘s.

Theres also 2 Rookie female drivers racing in DTM this year!

Watching the F3 for the first time and Mini Leclerc has just caused a safety car. The race thus far has been vastly more exciting than the F1. Whole field is super close and there’s more overtakes in a lap than in the average F1 race. I thoroughly recommend

Can't see how he'd have been any great loss to the F1 world.

That was too similar to Anthoine Hubert's crash in 2019.

There was a similar crash also a couple of weeks ago in the Spa 24 hour race:

W Series drivers Ayla Agree and Beitske Visser were taken to hospital after a six-car crash at the Belgian Grand Prix meeting on Friday.

Visser had a brain scan and a leg X-ray but both women were later released from hospital without injury.
