Top 100 for the 9th January 2020

Pete's Chart Commentary
We're only two weeks in and we already have our second #1 of the year! CoCo and the Butterfields decided the best time to release their EP was on the quietest week of the year, and the lead single from that is our new #1. It's a beautiful song with a nice video including sign language for those who can't listen to music. The band also manage two more entries in the Top 40, K.O.T.C and Goodbye Now, whislt their Christmas song 'Dance!' is just about still in the Top 40.

The other non-CoCo new entry inside the Top 40 comes from Christian artist Corey Voss with his debut appearance in my chart, whilst Matoma and Haloo Helsinki climb in for the first time and Biffy Clyro manage an unprecedented third run inside the Top 40. There's still a sprinkling of Christmas left in the Top 100 this week thanks to the last few days of the Christmas festival being within the week.
