Just a simple little thread now that Little Mix are carrying on as a trio & with their latest smash hit 'Sweet Melody' has become their 5th chart topping smash. Now would be a great time to bring out a Greatest Hits collection, to look back & reflect on some of their iconic smashes & other gems in their extensive discography.

My wants will never happen! But it's basically based off their current platinum singles (and singles that will go Platinum in the future, such as BUS/SM) and then also remixes as their tour remixes are usually really good and I want studio versions of them. New Remixes on disc 2 would be collaborations and the new songs on disc 1 would essentially be new songs, but one of them an old song w/Jesy, perhaps an old Confetti/LM5 offcut.

I also like the Platinum edition idea - would be easy to sell (and impressive)

I think this is my idea of the best running order for Platinum - it's roughly balanced by biggest hits but also trying to separate eras a fair bit (collabs at the bottom)

I vote this! Although I do also like the idea of a second cd with some album tracks on.

Don't suppose Jesy leaving the group would have any affect on if a greatest hits could be made?

This is a great idea!

I think they should throw out a Greatest Hits if it's true they are ending the Confetti era and moving onto a three piece album. While GH's are not really released much anymore I think they could make a decent success out of one. I haven't bought a Little Mix album since Glory Days (I'm more of a casual fan) but I'd 100% buy a Greatest hits CD, and I'm sure a lot of other casual fans would. Also it should stream fairly well if they push all the singles on Spotify as streams towards the GH collection rather than their respective albums. Would be perfect to round off the 4 piece and start anew as a 3 piece, and god knows they have MORE than enough hits to justify one.

Not at all, she doesn't own the rights to any of the songs it's the record label (and SYCO maybe?) that do. It's not like Spice Girls who had a contract and made sure they were co-writers on every song so they had control over the music (hence why we've never got any unreleased music or remix albums etc etc from the girls, they block them).

That would be a wonderful release.
Releasing such a package should come soon to close the work as a 4 piece chapter and a stop gap for fans while the girls take maternity breaks.
