 hello! welcome back to buzzjack's favourite song contest for a brand new edition! last time we were hosted by wardy with a duets theme that yours truly won ofc  this time i'm challenging you to find some brilliant pop-rock to try and steal the crown from me with! now this may say that we're going rock but your entry still must have a strong pop element to keep in line with the genre forum! feel free to branch out into other related realms like pop-punk, emo-pop, pop-whatever-the-hell-you-want-but-it-has-guitars etc. i'm sure you get the gist and if not, we'll simply veto you and you can try again   as per every other pop forum song contest, there are some rules that you also must abide by... 1. The song must not have reached the top 100 in the UK chart. 2. The Artist must not have an Artist Forum on Buzzjack. 3. Any song that we feel is giving other songs an unfair advantage (eg, Sales) or somewhat fits the veto rules (popular on the forum) will still be vetoed. 4. For this contest, we are intrigued by artists that are perhaps not known outside of their own country. We want to discover the best of pop. 5. An artist will only get one entry per contest, so first come first served. 6. The song must not have been a top 20 hit in another song contest on the site. However, a song that has previously been entered into these contests may still be vetoed. of course all these rules will be at the veto-panels discretion but i'm sure you all know how this works by now x if that all sounds good to you please confirm by sending a wee message to myself with your artist, song title and a link to your entry  please do so by the end of wednesday the 17th of march! that gives you a week to find something but i'm sure you've probably already got a banger in mind right?  hopefully that will be long enough to get a good amount of entries in x if you need a reminder of the elite standard we're expecting of your songs, please check out last contests winner if you've got any questions please ask away! you can check out stats from PFSC I - VII here also if that's something that tickles your fancy, there should be a list of previous entries as well so you can check to see how original you're planning to be x you must not tell any other participant which entry is yours also, that will be revealed during the results show!! x confirmed participants x [23] Lindsey SevenSeize Cameron Awardinary Chez Wombat Tafty King Rollo Uhsting Harry Iz Juan Carlos Travis Addy Lewww Jupiter Cody Lewistgreen RabbitFurCoat Brè WhoOdyssey Jade Riser Ansel This post has been edited by Linds.: Mar 19 2021, 08:02 AM |

How exciting! I wasn’t sure if you’d be up to hosting this Lindsey but I am so very happy that you are!
 I loved hosting last time, and yours was a much deserved winner, I will get thinking about what to send to this contest.

Ooh yes (I thought this would be a likely theme for a Lindsey contest x), I have some great potentials of this genre I've been sitting on for ages and this feels like the perfect time to send them!

i've been trying to get it up for ages but things just kept getting in the way, i've got some time off this week though so figured i should before cameron bans me from hosting for not putting it up every time i said i was gonna

I'm kind of glad this was delayed a bit as iirc the date it was originally planned to happen would have clashed with my Nuggets round, after I already delayed that once because of the previous PFSC suddenly popping up when I was originally planning to do it
Looks like a good theme, let me hope to not come dead last this time
