New single from beabadoobee out on March 23rd, co-written with and produced by Matty & George from The 1975! It's part of an upcoming EP she's recorded with them.

It's her first music since her fantastic debut album, so I'm quite intrigued for it.

Just caught this as the Hottest Record in the World on R1 tonight! A strong return! Definite 1975 influences but it's not too far from her own thing. She sounded so shy from her interview which I wasn't expecting.

Video is now up! 1975 fans have been comparing the sound to Me & You Together Song and Menswear - which I can defo hear all of.

Last Day on Earth is superb and now comfortably my favourite song of hers, I've been loving it so long and haven't come close to tiring of it, so uplifting. Will definitely give the EP a few listens, all of her album was nice enough but not something I go back to

The whole EP is out now! 'He Gets Me So High' was originally written by Matty to be a 1975 track, so I'm particularly excited to hear that one.

1. Last Day On Earth
2. Cologne
3. Animal Noises
4. He Gets Me So High

I love her. She's got the 90s aesthetic and sonic influence nailed so well without it sounding like a tacky pastiche. Her artwork for this EP and Last Day On Earth is like All Saints meets Billie, and the music is so good.

Animal Noises is my favourite from the EP, it's lovely. Last Day On Earth is really good too though, although in terms of recent singles I still prefer Care. He Gets Me So High is good too, very Kenickie-esque, and Cologne has shades of The Cardigans - all really strong.
