23rd. Perfect Illusion = 8 Votes
Welcome Buzzjack to Round 5 of Lady Gaga's least fave singles poll. The next to drop out is Perfect Illusion with a whopping 8 votes, making this her first lead single to bow out & doesn't come as a surprise as just like last time it struggled, by gaining pretty high votes in all the previous rounds. This is very bold & in your face that shows commitment to versatility, ultimately willing to drop a bold, daring tune as her “comeback” single knowing full well fans wanted another mammoth 'Bad Romance' styled track - which this isn't, in fact its something very different to what she's done before - a glam rock/pop number that despite being packed with a soaring chorus...it's lacking that little something extra & comes across rather unapproachable & clearly not what us the fans wanted from her at the time, especially off the back of the shaky 'Artpop' era. 7 other songs gained votes in the last round with 'G.U.Y' gaining 5 votes & 'You and I' getting 4 (could the next round be a close call between these 2). 'Judas', 'Applause' & 'I'll Never Love Again' each got 2 votes each, then finally 'Do What U Want' & 'Million Reasons' yet again both gets a vote each. Right then guys, same rules apply just vote for your Least Fave Gaga track & the one with the most votes will be gone by the next round which will be in 4/5 days time, so have fun guys & remember choose wisely. She's a rebel and that she would never surrender to making a basic pop song that radio stations would play in loop (which is why she said she rejected working with Max Martin and Dr. Luke several times) but sometimes you just need an accessible song to get along, and she clearly didn’t do that with that song.

I actually have a lot of love for 'Perfect Illusion', although I can totally see why it wasn't a hit and probably was a bit of a mistake releasing it.
