Top 40 Chart Commentary There is a new #1 this week with Felon climbing a place with Fine Lines. It dethrones Grandbrothers after 7 weeks who fall to #2. Felon have the third #1 of the year and the song is also the third BJSC entry of mine this year - we are yet to have a non contest affiliated #1 this year so far. Dimension shoots up to #3 with Sensory Division having entered at #18 last week. It is his 3rd top 10 hit, and matches his highest peak achieved with Black Church (2018). His other big hit, Sub Focus collab Desire, peaked at #5. It is the only song that enters the top 10 this week. Continuing to gain big is Lika Morgan, having entered the top 40 last week she is now up to #13 with IQ Doesn't Matter, now her 6th top 20 hit. Two songs that entered in the top 50 last week shoot into the top 20, both by newcomers to the chart (and coincidentally both are female house producers). At #18 is LP Giobbi with Take My Hand, and at #20 is Jess Bays with Love We Had. Entering the top 40 are Franky Wah at #36 getting his 3rd hit, and the highest brand new entry at #38 from Au5 getting his 2nd hit - with help from Haliene on vocals who now has 15 hits. Well, SLY is about to pass half a year in the top 20 I'd say that's rather impressive, gravity has to come for it eventually! Yay for Your Love growing on you now after I think you said the opposite a few weeks back! I, erm, should have seen it coming that the song would make my top 40 Hmm I can't see Fireworks re-peaking for me now, it's good but I don't really love the song. thanks James.

Because You Move Me recently got a music video which alerted me to it [and I didn't know of Tinlicker when it was originally released] although I think I gave it a curiosity listen or two before from it being their top track on Spotify. thanks Kath.

The Business and Your Love (9PM) are obviously my favourites from the rest of that top 40 but Somebody Loves You was also a good discovery from TBO and what a long chart run it's having on here!

Yes, I'm hoping it can go top 20 but I think it's quite borderline, I've just predicted it to be 20th in the Odds thread haha. Sensory Division reminds me a lot of my old BJSC entry from him Black Church so I very much enjoy it. Somebody Loves You has to be one of my fave songs of recent times, it is such an anthem thanks coi.
