I was certain that we had done one of these types of contests before (in this part of the forum), but I can't seem to find any trace of it But anyhow...
WELCOME to the Movie Forum Song Contest. In a bid to try and boost/drive forum activity, I think we should get our teeth into a contest. The contest where we award our 10 favourite songs using the Eurovision points system (12 to our favourite, 10 to 2nd 8 to 3rd down to 1 point for our 10th fave) In this contest, we are asked for you to send your favourite piece of Score from a movie. YOUTUBE PLAYLIST: I had a Spotify playlist but I'm not confident the versions that I put in the playlist are the correct versions, so please use the YT playlist instead x Here is the final list: 01. Great entries there, plus quite a few double uses of the same composers... and nobody braved the obvious choice of John Williams or Hans Zimmer as Jonjo mentioned in his confirmations thread!
Not that it should matter, but it was worth mentioning that the deadline you have set is also the same deadline for PFSC VIII, so those in both contests must remember to vote in both events by that date! |

Unfortunately the proper version of mine doesn't actually appear to be on Spotify - that version uses a different orchestra and sounds a bit shit.

Coz I actually really enjoyed yours!!! LMAOI shall link the YT videos in the opening post too. -- I got rid of the Spotify playlist altogether. I'm not convinced some of them are the actual versions etc.. so just use the YT playlist that includes the links that everyone confirmed with. |

It's probably because I've only ever listened to the version I have and anything different sounds totally alien.

Voted! As expected, I liked everything here which made voting extremely tough, but it was a wonderful listen. I love that we had quite a diverse range of sounds in there as well.
