'Let's Go Home Together'
 I knew they'd playlist it eventually!Their refusal to move 'Wellerman' up the playlist is just laughable at this point  I hope it stays at #1 for a few weeks just for the lolz of forcing R1 to keep it on the C-list!Hope they add James Arthur next week, that's definitely one of his better songs. I'm guessing they're waiting to see how it does before deciding to add it. |

Great to see ‘Peaches’ instant A-Listed, think it could be number one nefx month.
Also lovely to see Ella/Tom (added while the other Tom track is A-Listed), Lana and Masked Wolf(finally) added! Anyone get the feeling unless for a few names indie style artists are just stuck in the C-List?! |

Great new additions this week. I'm also confused about the Lana choice, although I'm happy for any track off the album to be added to the playlist. Loving Jodie and LG moving up to the B list, and I'm surprised (but happy) that Rose has been added. Did they playlist Jenny's solo single?

Good adds today. Nice to see the new Justin going straight onto the A List, The Masked Wolf added at last, the add for ROSE and Lil Nas X being tune of the weekend. Hopefully that will be added next week along with Bicep, which was Grimmy’s Tune of the Week this week.
Really hoping Maisie Peters doesn’t stall on the C List with this single - it’s her best so far for me. Also hoping that Ben Howard moves up and surprised Silk Sonic is still on the C List, thought that would immediately move up. Still laughable to see Wellerman on the C List. Next week it’s likely to be the longest runner on there 😂 |

I don't think keeping Wellerman on the C-list is necessarily a snub - I think they've just judged that it's not a song that people necessarily want to hear all the time. As much as many people love it, I should think a lot of people are sick of it too. Radio 1 isn't about hammering songs into the ground. That's Capital. Yeah, the last I heard the standard number of weekly spins was 8 for a song on the C-list, 13 for B-list and 25 for A-list, not sure if that's still the same.
