Thanks for this. Nothing But Thieves are they’re current favourites who will probably disappear next time like Gerry Cinnamon last year had several entries and a Top 10 but by the looks of it has gone completely.
The biggest surprise for me is that random Paolo Nutini track ‘Iron Sky’, I’ve not heard it in years so not sure how that’s sprung up unless Radio X have been playing it lately. Yeah the complete lack of Gerry is incredibly surprising! I reckon the lack of festivals probably hasn't helped him, so hopefully he'll be back up next year.

A slight reduction in Oasis and not quite as top heavy, good to see a few more women represented this year too, 2 to 7 I think it's gone!
I'm surprised Bohemain Rhapsody still does quite so well as John Robins hasn't worked there for two years now to influence it

Lol at this being mostly just a list of established classics... and then randomly throwing in a few recent singles by Royal Blood and Nothing But Thieves. (I do like the songs in question but they feel quite out of place
)What is this list based on? Just random Radio X staff or was it a public voted thing? |
