     Lil Nas X's MONTERO looks likely to grab a third week at #1 on the singles chart, while new entries should arrive from Doja Cat & SZA with Kiss Me More and Polo G with RAPSTAR. There’s comeback singles from Years & Years with Starstruck and Twenty One Pilots with Shy Away, and new tracks from Nathan Dawe/Anne-Marie/Mostack and Rag’n’Bone Man/P!nk Taylor Swift's new re-recorded version of Fearless is on course for #1, the original peaked at #5 back in 2009. There’s new releases from BROCKHAMPTON with their sixth album Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine and Jean-Michel Jarre with Amazonia, plus the first-time vinyl release for Ariana’s positions Breakdown of the week - Saturday: Some information may be posted on social media but it is likely to be missing most streaming data and is unrepresentative. - Sunday: Official First Look Chart on Radio 1 from 6-7pm. Please do not post spoilers on the forum in advance as this ruins the countdown for any listeners. - Monday: OCC Top 100 from 5:45pm - Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one. - Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed. - Thursday: See Tuesday. Interestingly, The Snuts have reached a new peak of #5 on the Apple Music albums chart today! I imagine the drop with few physical sales will still be quite big though.

I wonder if we'll see a decent sized sales increase in the album chart overal this week onwardsl with non-essential retail reopening. I do hope so given how terrible they've been recently.

The top 20 mark for Q1 on YTD albums was 35k, last year (mostly pre-covid) it was 39k - so it's not that bad. It's just that there haven't been any really interesting new releases out there, that had urged people both to buy AND stream.
