Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information.
If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder: SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios: 100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc) 600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc) ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios: 200 premium streams = 1 sale 1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR. The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. The explanations are posted in each update to assist you. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1ST 6 | Song is in its first six weeks in the chart so is not affected by ACR. is there a chance levitating will come off ACR soon? the dababy remix is up to 13 on UK Spotify which is a big jump compared to last week, and the original version of the song has re-entered at 150, combined it is top 5 on UK spotify

Only Justin Bieber going on acr next week then. Pretty surprised heat waves is still not declining it’s been around for ages, maybe the good weather? It’s getting old for me now tbh.

Genuinely think Heat Waves has an opportunity to reach a new peak in the summer if it can avoid ACR for long enough. Hopefully we get a big clear out in a couple of weeks, don’t care for any of those songs surviving much longer apart from We’re Good

'Martin & Gina' books its way to 30+ weeks in the top 100, we love to see it. (I do think there's a good chance this will be the last time it swerves though as it will probably have got a bit of a bump from the release of 'RAPSTAR' which will now be fading again, but I guess time will tell )

Could be in for an interesting chart in a few weeks with all those one week decline, but not doubt a good 80% of them will get a climb on a nice weather week at some point. Not too mad about it though still pretty happy with the overall quality of the top 10 even if half of it is quite stale at this point

Those DCL-2 songs will go ACR, but the DCL-1's have still some time.

Heat Waves position in the top 40 has been 100% correlated with its position on HH
last week it was its peak in support on HH, so the song also peaked in the charts this week the support is a bit less good, dropped from its peak sadly it looks like the support is diminishing now, so I think it's done and won't climb anymore |
