Rehearsal schedule is out. My site have, again (I searched and I did the same in 2019 without remembering), done a very convenient schedule image to use for identifying any country you want to catch reactions to. Other fansites are available.
Two weeks out today. |

The delegations have been arriving all throughout today and will be kicking off rehearsals tomorrow - still doesn't really feel...real yet!

I guess we get into spoiler territory now if you are one of those who prefers to wait for the performances... but they won't be reading this thread anyway.
The Russian clip looks like a moment, if they can straighten it out. Montaigne has some great style too (at least from the video submitted, as of course they're not in Rotterdam), Lithuania sounds like they might need a bit of practice. |

North Macedonia have done their traditional overcooking of the stage show, despite there just being one person alone on stage. Never change <3

Ireland are not gonna qualify based on the rehearsal vocal that I just heard. I wouldn't rule out last place given that the least expected songs to qualify (Slovenia and N Macedonia) will have stunning vocals.

Russia topping the press poll on Day 1, Ukraine on Day 2. What a fabulous start!

I really hope the YT clip of Malta's rehearsal was intentionally bad and they're saving the big performance aspect for when she actually does it coz otherwise... that is not the winner! Disappointing. I am banking on the live performance properly selling it to me. GAH.

Russia, Ireland and Cyprus seem to be benefiting from the staging from the first rehearsal so I'm hoping to see something spectacular during the live shows!

San Marino sounds like they're putting pretty much everything they can think of on stage, everyone's really excited by them. They have a stand-in Flo Rida on stage 'in case' - and there's a graphic with his name...

Elena was much better live than I was expecting. Could very well be the top female bop this year!

Press Poll Results for Day 1 + 2:
Missing Australia for obvious reasons. But surely that's good news for Ukraine, not quite a death sentence for Malta but not great for Israel/Azerbaijan/Romania. We all know that not all of the female bops will qualify so this could be telling for those three as opposed to Cyprus/Croatia. The massive influx of entries with similar setups (choreo + 4-5 dancers) could spell disaster for all but a handful of them. Surprised they gave Belgium such great reviews, the staging looked so dull from what I saw. |

How do the press reviews compare to the final results from previous years does anyone know?

How do the press reviews compare to the final results from previous years does anyone know? The one that sticks out in my mind is how Blanche tanked in the press poll in 2017 I've just looked up 2019, they had Hungary above Belarus/Slovenia on day 1, Estonia lower than Georgia/Belgium/Portugal on day 2, day 4 had Arcade 4th and KEiiNO 7th out of 9 countries...actually, Arcade also had a score of 45 as well so maybe Destiny is mirroring it They're fun but I take the numbers and positions with a pinch of salt really and prefer to read what the written reviews say |

Apparently Moldova's performance is quite tame compared to the video which is disappointing. I'm wondering if any of these big pop numbers are hiding any elements of their performances for the live performance for maximum shock factor? If not, these pop songs will be quite hard to distinguish between for the audience I fear.

It seems like A LOT of the performance have similar pink and purple lighting, struggling to see stand out moments emerging.
Iceland have gone down very, very well today though! |

The problem seems to be a lot of the female acts have similar staging and are going for the Eleni ‘Fuego’ style with the dancers. Could result in them being anywhere between 7th and 12th in the semi?
