Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information.
If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder: SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios: 100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc) 600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc) ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios: 200 premium streams = 1 sale 1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR. The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. For established song that +25% is very hard to achieve in one week. In most cases it requires either an album release or a new version.

WTF!! I am done with the UK charts. 21% for Levitating how is that possible!?
The original version was nowhere before last week and the version feat. DaBaby was on 25% or more the whole week on Spotify!!

Save Your Tears must have been very close to avoiding - I had estimated its sales to be almost the same as last week.

Shame that Levitating didn’t get SCR reset but who cares...it’s still slaying and it’s heading towards being 1+ million in overall, and second biggest hit of FN!!!

Does it really matter that much though? The song's already been a big long-running top 5 hit and it's not like it's likely to reach a new peak even with a reset. You make it sound like it's life or death.

You should also consider than despite the huge increase on Spotify
Levitating did not increase at all on Apple or Amazon Spotify is not everything it's not fishy at all... it would have needed like a 75% increase on Spotify considering it had a 0% increase elsewhere This post has been edited by Bjork: Apr 24 2021, 02:48 PM |

I’d already expected Levitating to just miss - its SCR sales went from about 24k to 29k so it makes sense to me.

Levitating climbed massively on YouTube and Deezer, and it climbed on Amazon as you mentioned in the thread this week Apple Music, I understand but Levitating was in the 20s on Apple for last 2 weeks My biggest issue is that original version of the song had a 0-100 increase but this does not apeear to be accounted for! This is the version that's going viral on TikTok |
