Following 2018's *fantastic* 'Resistance is Futile', the Manics are back on Friday with the lead single from their upcoming 14th album! Hopefully it's as good as their last lead, International Blue

The Manics will never reach the great heights of their 90s output ever again and I miss the glitter and the combat gear. They lost their fire years ago but there's always something comfortably familiar about them. As elegant and eloquent as ever but this feels functional at best.
I hope there's something more interesting on the album. |

They are well passed their 90s heyday but i still think they release some good material, this included.
