Chart Analysis
Eurovision has well and truly invaded this week, holding exactly half of the top 20! At the very top are the winners Måneskin with ZITTI E BUONI - the first song with no English lyrics to reach the top since Bella D'Estate by Mika & Michele Bravi (coincidentally also in Italian). Just below is the unfairly robbed Montaigne with Technicolour, and Go_A with SHUM. Hooverphonic take 4th place, followed by a few songs which managed to withstand the Euro-invasion: Marina, Lil Nas X and Olivia Rodrigo all score new top ten entries. Back to Eurovision, and Finland's Blind Channel scores a #8 hit while Cyprus's Elena Tsagrinou lands at #9. And then we have Olivia once again dropping like a stone to #10. The Eurovision overload continues just outside the top ten, challenged only by Bleachers and Biig Piig. The rest of the chart is mostly just massive drops for anything non-ESC related, but new entries come from Sinead Harnett, Channel Tres and Mysie. Next week, expect big things for Sigrid and a couple more Måneskin tracks
