"Good evening everyone and welcome to another week of the Top 40 Countdown by awardinary!

Thank you to following 5 people who viewed and commented on my personal chart last week: k🤡th, Cow Cow, JSG, dan::G and Sergej. Responses to your comments are in the below post.

Every chart position changes this week, which means there is a new #1 single, and it is a Summer anthem by Galantis, David Guetta and Little Mix with Heartbreak Anthem, dethroning Fred again.. after 3 weeks at the top. Dua Lipa manages a Top 2 position with Love Again, which also becomes the Track of the Week on the day the official music video was released.

A total of 7 new entries grace this chart this week, and the highest peaking one is by Griff with a remix of Black Hole by Goodboys. There are also remixes by MNEK and Billen Ted entering this week courtesy of Sugababes and Little Mix respectively. There are also new entries by Alex Adair, MØ, Jax Jones and Dragonette.

The biggest climber this week is a modest climb of 6 places by Years & Years who reach a new peak with Starstruck. There are also new chart peaks for MENTIS, Jubël, MEDUZA and Disciples.

The biggest faller is a former #1 in this chart by ABDA, dropping 16 places in a single week. Due to the number of new releases this week, there are a few chart departures which this week are by Gorgon City, Franky Wah, Karen Harding, Purple Disco Machine, Rag’N’Bone Man, Mike Candy’s and Navos.
