Chart Analysis
CHVRCHES have risen to the surface this week, earning a first #1 with How Not To Drown! Biig Piig also jumps one place to a new peak of #2. New at #3 is Jessie Ware's Hot N Heavy, matching the peak of previous single Please. Another new entry comes from Tinashe at #6, surrounded on all sides by Måneskin. Mysie's Seven Nights rises to an appropriate peak of seven, above Sigrid at #8. The first of many Wolf Alice tracks (their entire album is here, in fact) comes at #9, with King Princess finishing off the top 10. Just missing out on another top ten hit is Billie Eilish at #11. Non-Wolf-Alice entries come from Channel Tres, VanJess, and Orville Peck, plus there's two songs from 2020 which I'm giving a bit of chart justice to: Perfume Genius's Nothing At All (one of my favourites from his album which I never charted for some reason) and Rose Gray's cover of Nothing Can Stop Us (her only single to miss the top ten, let's see if I can fix that over the next few weeks)!
