Thought this would be an interesting question. I've realised that when I watch a match, I literally only watch the match - I switch the TV on when it starts, turn it off for the half-time break and then off again once the match is done, avoiding all the various preamble/post-match commentary.

What about you? Do you watch the entire show, parts of it or just the game itself? Discuss happy.gif

Usually just the match or a bit of build up depending on the game!

I've generally watched some of the half-time analysis on the BBC but have muted it as soon as they move on to (generally dull) interviews and general promotional puff. As most of the half-time break on ITV is filled by commercials, I mute it immediately. I've generally not bothered with much of the post-match stuff.

Sometimes the entire show depends which match it is.

I will watch the half time stuff and some of the build up. I don’t mind it as it’s language practice and the coverage has been pretty decent so far from ARD/ZDF

Just whack on pre-match coverage whenever but don't really pay too much attention to the punditry unless something particularly interesting catches my ear.

Watch the games just and post game, usually getting stuff done in the build up so I can watch the match in peace!!

On Wednesday I had watched the Scotland game Tuesday so didn’t want to dominate the tv for two nights in a row so recorded the game on my Sky Q and muted my watsapp groups.

Then watched the France Portugal game at 10pm 😂

I enjoy the fact you've given two contrasting answers to this question in this thread Steve kink.gif

Certainly won't be watching the 95 minute build-up on the BBC tomorrow night.
