Can’t see Wales getting anything out this game, Italy are just too strong. I think they have a good shot at winning the competition

I wouldn't be surprised if Italy sat back for this game now that they're through, though I hope I'm wrong as they have been fun to watch.

Was meaning to say yesterday Ronaldo was 12/1 to be top scorer at the start of the tournament - woulda been worth a fiver!

It was a harsh red, definite foul, but not sure it had any bearing on the game. Italy outclassed Wales with their B team. Italy are definitely the most consistent team I've seen so far in the tournament, fingers crossed they win the thing!

Assuming as seems most likely Denmark beat Russia in Copenhagen and Belgium beat Finland, Wales will face Denmark in Amsterdam in the knockout stages.

Should have seen this being a cagey match with Italy playing their B-team and already being through.
Very good for Wales though to be already assured of qualification. They needed to avoid a hammering to remain ahead of Switzerland on GD. |
