Revealed on her Vogue Mex and LATAM cover that her new single will be out next month and the new album is slated for next year. Shakira said the following to Vogue. (translated from Spanish to English) QUOTE "I feel very energetic, eager to work and very inspired. I'm on full throttle, doing a lot of songs. I'm in the process of mixing that song which is coming out in July. I've just finished shooting the video and these days I'm dedicated to edit it, to finish mixing the song and preparing it to be released in July. I have high hopes for this song, high expectations and high hopes. Songs will continue to be released throughout this year that they will end up in an album that I believe it will be available for next year. There is also a lot of desire to go out in concert again, the idea is to go on tour next year, in summer. I think sometime next year I'm going to be on tour again. I am very excited about all this. After enjoying the stillness, now all the activity begins again".

She had 2 singles last year ('Me Gusta' feat. Anuel AA and 'GIRL LIKE ME' from Black Eyed Peas' album) but they were both absolutely horrendous so I wouldn't bother with them... her last album was 2017 but it was a Spanish language one so ofc got no attention in the UK. Looks like she also dropped a throwaway single in 2018 but that's all.

rooting for something as good as Chantaje but her latest songs have all been such a let down
Clandestino was a very poor attempt at Chantaje part 2 that didn't work and her song with BEP was so cheesy, and they tried to make a video with this choreo almost made for TikTok, but nobody cared... |

This is #23 on NMF, it’s such a shame she’s getting no support tbf.
