Salford City and Swindon Town have been charged by the Football Association for a melee during their League Two match at the Peninsula Stadium on Saturday.

Home boss Gary Bowyer was booked for appearing to push Swindon's Jonny Williams in the 90th minute, which sparked a melee between the two sets of players and coaching staff.

After recent results, Carlisle are just above the dotted line at the wrong end of the table. I will try to resist the nails.... tongue.gif

Chris Beech has departed Carlisle United after a poor run of form. Thought this would happen, our form hasn't been as good as it was before the COVID outbreak back in February. Gavin Skelton and Eric Kinder are in charge temporarily.

Bristol Rovers manager Joey Barton has apologised for comparing his side's performance against Newport County on Saturday to "a Holocaust".

Barton was criticised by several anti-Semitism campaigners after using the analogy in his post-match interview.

The Football Association also contacted Barton in relation to the comment.

An unusual refereeing mix-up led to a confusing start to the second half in Leyton Orient's 5-0 thrashing of Hartlepool, with Aaron Drinan netting a hat-trick for the hosts.

The two sides were told to swap ends four minutes into the second half, after referee Alan Young took the players off too early at the end of the first half.
