Top 100 for the 3rd July 2021
Pete's Chart Commentary Do we even really need a commentary this week? No songs climbing into the Top 10 and the only song climbing into the Top 5 is one that's been there before. The most exciting action comes lower down where a lack of new entries has caused a bunch of songs that were outside the Top 40 to climb in, most notably Porter Robinson which has been stuck in the 41-50 section for what feels like an age. 1 [1] Amy Shark - Baby Steps (24-17-4-1-1-1-1-) 2 [2] Nico & Vinz - Don't Be Afraid (2-2-2-2-) 3 [3] The Vaccines - Headphones Baby (7-5-3-3-) 4 [4] Sofi Tukker - Mon Cheri (ft. Hey Pete!
I quite like Diatorted Light Beam at least compared to Bastille's material of the last few years but it really is missing that special something in the chorus. Look At The Sky has been sitting on my playlist for charting for absolute ages and I've just not gotten round to putting it on my actual chart playlist 😂😂 It is good though and I'll eventually chart it, it's just unlucky that it's been pushed back from my chart playlist for weeks and weeks and weeks. By Your Side is holding really well although that doesn't mean much when it's outside the top 40 get it sorted Holiday is quite decent. Didn't think much of it at first but I can really see why it became a hit for him now. Good chart |

Hi Pete!
Nice to see the debuts for "Mirror" and "Never Going Home" in the top 40! And below the top 40, the debuts fore "Bedroom Eyes" and "Rocky Trail" are nice too! Great chart! |

Hi Pete!
It's good to have Bastille back isn't it? I was a bit underwhelmed when I first heard it but it is steadily growing. It's an interesting direction they've gone in. I'm still loving that Vaccines song so it's good to see it still top three. Their new one is actually just as good, you should check it out if you haven't heard t it yet! Btw Ten Tonnes also has a new one out 'Mirror' is pretty average for Sigrid, I preferred some of her earlier stuff tbh. Nice chart |

Hi, Pete!
Good to see Don't Be Afraid and Headphones Baby still at the top 3. The top 2 looks so stable after a month! Distorted Light Beam is a solid song! Haven't heard about Bastille for several months Nice to see Look At The Sky and Never Going Home entering the top 40 as well! Great chart! |
