The first semifinal sees a repeat of the Euro 2012 final as a resurgent Italy take on Spain. Both in their first Euros semifinal since 2012.

The game is live on BBC. Please use this thread for speculation, pre and post match chat on the Italy v Spain game.

I think this will be an evenly matched contest, but Italy will edge it. Think Spain will tire and a lack of a decent goalscorer will once again effect them, but the semi-finals is a massive achievement for them still as this squad is way below their golden era.

I think Italy will win but Spain are capable of snatching it by the odd goal if they play well.

Expecting a Italy v England final on Sunday.

Hope Italy win as they have been the most impressive through the tournament and are (a bit) of a surprise package albeit a footballing national heavyweight due to their history.

Just canít warm to this Enrique Spanish team and I loved the classic 2007-12 side that conquered the world!

Donnarumma may have a glowing error if he's not careful.

An alright first half! Plenty of chances at both ends but both teams have had a defence strong enough to keep the goals at bay.

A few missed chances by Spain, especially from Olmo, the space was screaming.

Spain have looked good in this match, just not clinical in front of goal.

Edit: Just as I say that!!!

Finally a goal! Felt inevitable with all the attacking and counter-attacking.

Chiesa sure loves Wembley. Both of his goals at Euro 2020 have been scored there.
