Welcome to the weekly ACR Status Updates thread! This is where you can find out the current streaming ratios of the songs in the official top 100. Please note - I don't receive information every single week, so if no thread materialises, there's no use nagging me - it means I genuinely don't know the status of any songs! Updates can also materialise at any point over the weekend but I'll always try to ensure I do it before the First Look chart update if I receive the necessary information.
If you're wondering what ACR and SCR are, here's a quick reminder: SCR = Standard Chart Ratio. All songs enter the chart on SCR, which means their streams count at the following ratios: 100 premium streams = 1 sale (e.g. a premium Spotify account, Apple Music, Tidal, etc) 600 ad-funded streams = 1 sale (e.g. free Spotify, YouTube, etc) ACR = Accelerated Chart Ratio. Once a song has charted for at least 10 weeks, and declines in streams for three consecutive weeks, it is put onto ACR. This means its streams are effectively HALVED, and count at the following ratios: 200 premium streams = 1 sale 1200 ad-funded streams = 1 sale Songs older than 3 years old are automatically on ACR. The terminology used in this thread will be the official terminology used by the OCC. Updated the definition of the RESET category to reflect what seems to be the new rule change!
Dinero was on DCL-3 last week, and DCL-1 this week   seems the label asked for another manual reset

I guess this is a reasonable rule change, always seemed a little weird that it didn't work that way to begin with.
Yay for both Måneskin top 10 hits being on 0 weeks of decline, shame 'ZITTI E BUONI' couldn't also be pulled over the line by the general hot weather boost but nevermind

Life Goes On received a 40% increase on Spotify this week. Do we know if it would’ve received an automatic reset if the label hadn’t asked for one first?

The rule change makes sense. Seems like the right time for Zitti E Buoni as it was on the verge of leaving the top 100. Far exceeded all expectations I had for the track.
Fingers crossed Good Without goes ACR next week. Had more than enough time top 40. |
