Apologies if someone has already started a thread but I couldn't find one.

This us the chance to comment on the various loeagues around Europe.

In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich are going for a tenth successive title. BT have lost the rights to Sky.

Juventus are aiming to win Serie A yet again. That league is on BT.

PSG (now with Lionel Messi) will be hoping to regain their title after Lille pipped them last season. That is also on BT.

Atletico Madrid broke the Real / Barca duopoly last season in Spain. That is on LaLigaTV available via Premier Sports.

Gladbach held Bayern to a draw despite two v sus penalty calls going against them. Sadly the rights are split in Germany ⅓ ⅔ between DAZN and Sky and I already pay Sky 17,50Ä I ainít paying the same again to DAZN so I missed the match. Half of our opening three games are on DAZN so maybe my principles wonít last long

A 4-2 win for PSG in the end, but a decent second-half performance by Strasbourg who were nearly relegated last season.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has revealed the Spanish club is 1.35bn euros (£1.15bn) in debt, describing the situation as "very worrying".

The club's wage bill currently accounts for 103% of total income.

Laporta blames predecessor Josep Maria Bartomeu for the debt, accusing him of leaving a "terrible inheritance".

Itís ALLLLLLLLLLLLL going off in the German Cup tonight.

In the 82nd minute Gladbach are leading Bayern (I know, Iím shocked too)

BUT

it gets more mental

Thereís been 5 goals in this game and ALL OF THEM WERE SCORED BY BORUSSIA M÷NCHENGLADBACH!!!!!!

Unsurprisingly, Borussia Park is f***ing bouncing.

Leverkusen lost to a lower League Team earlier and itís just been a mental night and this Gladbach vs Bayern game has been the cherry on top of the cake

Ronald Koeman has been sacked as head coach of Barcelona after 14 months in charge at the Nou Camp.

Barca have picked up just 15 points from 10 games in La Liga and have already lost twice in the group stage of this season's Champions League.

They are ninth in the table, six points adrift of the joint leaders after losing at Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday.

The loss was Barca's third in their last four games and it followed defeat in Sunday's Clasico to Real Madrid.

It was always a matter of when not if with Koeman at Barca, never had the credentials for such a top gig in the first place and the financial situation/Messi leaving was never going to help. A club in perpetual decline from now dare I suggest...

Xavi is "fully focused" on his job in charge of Al Sadd despite being linked with the vacant Barcelona manager's job, claim the Qatari side.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta said he is in contact with the 41-year-old former Barca midfielder following the sacking of Ronald Koeman on Wednesday.

Koeman was dismissed after a 1-0 away defeat by Rayo Vallecano.

But Al Sadd tweeted: "Xavi has a two-year contract and is fully focused on the team's upcoming matches."

Xavi is favourite to replace Koeman and Laporta said: "I have always said one day [Xavi] will be Barca's head coach but I don't know when.

Sergio Aguero was taken to hospital for tests after suffering "chest discomfort" as Barcelona drew against Alaves in their first match since the sacking of Ronald Koeman.

Aguero went down clutching the top of his chest and received treatment for several minutes before being helped off the pitch just before half-time.

Barcelona later said he was admitted to hospital to have a "cardiac exam".

Belenenses' Portuguese top-flight match against Benfica was abandoned early in the second half because the home side had just six players on the pitch - having played the entire first half with nine men, including two goalkeepers.

A Covid outbreak left Belenenses with 17 players unavailable and they were 7-0 down at half-time.

And, after a delayed break, the team third from bottom emerged with just seven players before an injury immediately after the restart left them with just six - resulting in an immediate abandonment.
