Chart Commentary

"Hello and welcome to another week of the Top 40 Countdown by awardinary.

Thank you to the following 5 people who took the time both to view and comment on my personal chart last week: Cow Cow, JSG, SSP, uhsting and Sergej. Responses to your comments are in the below post.

So… we have a new #1 here, and it is the combination of Joel Corry and Jax Jones that does it! OUT OUT only entered the chart a week ago, but already it has outperformed the former #1 by Ed Sheeran and claims the Track of the Week status. Charli XCX is regaining her relevance again, and it’s another platform for rapper Saweetie to do well on. There is no change to the songs in the Top 10 this week, only the positions, of which three remain unchanged.

The highest new entry this week is by Katy Perry, somewhat surprisingly as she doesn’t feature on this chart very much. Other new entries from Anne-Marie and The Weeknd enter, along with the hidden identity of the Unknown Pleasures XXX entry which will be revealed in due course.

Climbing this week are Elton John & Dua Lipa, Topic x Bebe Rexha, Sigala & Rita Ora, Daze, Jax Jones, KC Lights, Sophie Ellis-Bextor & The Feeling, London Grammar and ATB. Daze is the biggest climber thanks to its qualification in BJSC 137.

The biggest faller this week is by Jonas Blue. Out goes Showtek, Shift K3Y, Fred again.. and Dua Lipa.
