Confirmed on Instagram yesterday, to celebrate 20 years since their second album was released Basement Jaxx will be reissuing Rooty. I'm aware that Zeds Dead will be remixing Where's Your Head At, so I'm hoping for a raft of new mixes of other tracks to go with it.

Originally released in June 2001, where it reached #5 in the chart, the album gave us the singles Romeo, Where's Your Head At, Jus 1 Kiss, Get Me Off and Do Your Thing.

'Where's Your Head At' has been used in an advert again recently iirc. One of the defining indie dance tracks I think.

'Get Me Off' is great too, sounds like a 2007 electro track ahead of its time.

Such an iconic track, it was a shame they left it off their Greatest Hits album considering everything else was on it. I know it was their lowest charting single but it was almost Top 20.
