Just been reading this article https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/best-d...-league-history and surprised at the high level of business that clubs have completed on transfer deadline days over the years.

With the likes of Ronaldo joining that list, are there any other players you recall being huge bargains on transfer deadline days in the past?

There tends to be less deadline day massive transfers these days as clubs tend to be more well run. Some great examples there though, completely forgot Ashley Cole and Wayne Rooney moved on deadline day!
