Ooh  although being up against Billie and Taylor seems difficult. Maybe Pop Vocal album could be more achievable? Deserved for ‘my hair’ alone tbh.

I can see her getting some nominations for sure.
Without sounding too negative I don’t know how strongly I feel about any wins. thank u, next didn’t get any wins and that era was more of an event than what this era was. Having said that though Sweetener won a Grammy and that’s not seen of very fondly on here as a whole album I’m guessing female wise Olivia will be her biggest competition perhaps or maybe Taylor with the evermore era? |

Great to see you posting again Jord *.* 'thank u, next' was so unlucky to run into Billie's crazily dominant year  but I know what you mean, that was Ari's critical and commercial peak so far, so winning with an album that didn't quite have the same buzz seems like a tall order when the likes of Billie, Taylor, Olivia etc. will be competition. But maybe something like 'Pop vocal performance' a la 'Sweetener' again could be achievable.*patiently waits for noms*

Nice to see her nominated in two categories.
The nominations are about what I expected I remember posting that I didn’t think it would be as many as thank u, next. Hope she can secure a win! I don’t see 2022s ceremony having a stand out winner of the night where one person seemingly wins everything like for example Billies dominating ceremony in 2020. Would be great to see her win again in the pop vocal album category but there’s strong competition there I’d actually say positions the single stands a better chance of the songs there it’s only Olivia’s what was a bigger hit isn’t it (I know sometimes there can be a surprise however like when queen Gaga won with Joanne the song!) but I think she’s more likely to get one for positions the single than the album I think album will go to one of Billie or Olivia (they love Billie at Grammys don’t they and Olivia was the standout breakthrough artist of the last year). (Also unrelated to Ariana but she doesn’t have her own forum. Miley was Robbed wasn’t she!! Was hoping she’d get some noms). This post has been edited by Jord: Nov 23 2021, 11:30 PM |

I didn't really feel like 'positions' had much of a chance for getting AOTY nom but I'm happy she has picked up a couple of noms elsewhere.
It would amazing for her to get a win but I feel like she won't unfortunately
