I think part of this fits well with the "insanity" theme she has been going on with in interviews. But it's still only a potentially made up rumor.

Apparently the script is now ready and the title is Joker 2: Folie a Deux, which hints that either Harley Quinn or Batman has a key role in it. Interesting...

Big director names is what she needs to aim for. A Ridley Scott blockbuster is always going to get attention and she gets immortalised in a huge catalogue of films by a well-respected name. Go for Tarantino next I say or del Toro~
