Soft Cell and Pet Shop Boys have teamed up to record Purple Zone which will appear on Soft Cell's new album. It is, predictably enough, fabulous.

no end. Deserves to be big, but sadly it won't. I love it! |

They do have a CD single but it's not being released until April/May

Very catchy and very old school pet shop boys which I love. Hopefully they push hard on the physical singles that might push it into the top 100 as it's been gar too long since a pet shop boys single made it that far.

I love Marc Almond's voice and I think they complement each other so well, almost to the point I can't believe it took them until now to team up!

Something about his voice really grates on me. I can tolerate 'Tainted Love' because it's such a good song (and 'Purple Zone' too for the same reason) but I couldn't listen to a whole album of him singing. |

Loved the pet shop boys Glastonbury set, hopefully we might see their greatest hits back in the top 100 this week.
