The single is titled “Viva Las Vengeance”. And it sounds like they’re going back to more of a pop-rock sound from the preview on Instagram.

They've got a solid enough fanbase that I don't think the 4 years will make a difference in that respect. Possibly for mainstream success, but it doesn't really matter if 'High Hopes' was just a fluke anyway.
In other news, apparently, the touring band have writing credits for the first time on this single! I wonder if they'll end up being confirmed as "official" members of Panic? |

God this is absolutely fantastic! Such a catchy chorus, feels like a return to the 2010-ish sound of Panic but still sounds very fresh. I'm glad he didn't just opt for something similar to 'High Hopes'.

I like it. The start of the second verse I think is very early 70s glam rock sounding like Wizzard lol!
Not such a big fan of Brendon Urie doing his highest pitched vocal in the chorus. |

Pretty good! It’s a shame how low-key this era is though, there seems to be little to no marketing/promo for it - even though the arena tour next year is selling well.
