Already a crazy upcoming albums week and now Eminem has entered the race for uk no. 1 album on the week ending 12/8/22. Comment on who you think will secure the no. 1 album and how many sales they will achieve first-week

i Think Kasabian will be victorious on 37,000 chart sales. But only 2,000 off Eminem.

Kasabian easily, Eminem’s is just a GH album.

I went for Kasabian, I think they can still command decent sales, whereas Calvin's traditionally not a huge album seller. It's hard to know how well an Eminem GH will do in 2022, especially given the fact that it won't have as many recognisable hits as his first GH album did at the time.

It is very hard to tell if Eminem will succeed. It Really Depends on the tracklisting i.e He may choose "Not Afraid" over "We Made You" As it was more successful in the states. Hopefully the album will contain "Love The Way You Lie" "Rap God" "The Monster" "River" "Lucky You" & "Godzilla". I have thoughts on some wildcards that may make the tracklisting such as "Darkness" & "Forever" With Drake, Kanye West & Lil Wayne. Also "Venom" Might Make It. Eminem still has a chance of getting to no. 1 the following week. All he has to do is overcome Pale Waves & Easy Life and then he has an 11 UK no. 1 Album

Eminem’s most popular songs on streaming are the ones from his first GH album (including his current 4 entries in the Spotify Top 200), I wouldn’t be surprised that if the first Curtain Call album is above the second by the second week.

I think Eminem will do it easily enough with Kasabain at 2 and Calvin Harris 3.

Also think Kasabian thanks to the physicals

Sure Calvin has no chance, I was thinking maybe if the new single is an earworm like Feels but it's not... plus the vinyls are out in Oct

Not sure Kasabian would have the same impact now the singer has changed than they did previously. Great if the fans have stuck with them. Think this will be a tight race but not expecting great numbers for any of them right now.

They were very lucky with Serge already being arguably more famous than Tom, the band’s main songwriter, and he always sung on a few songs on each album anyway.

Kasabian have moved their album back a week due to “vinyl production issues”.

Poor Easy Life once again!

oh so no more chart battle then

agree very unlucky for Easy life, they had picked a relatively easy empty slot and now they're screwed

The same happened last year IIRC, they moved to avoid Wolf Alice and then Olivia Rodrigo released hers a week before.

oh damn. they could move to august 19th. they would have to face Demi Lovato & Panic At The disco though but they have had weak campaigns this time.

It’s just Eminem vs Eminem now lol, I can see Harry Styles potentially appearing above Calvin.
