Yass going from being the only voter for my pick the previous week to being with the majority kink.gif And my 2nd fave coming 2nd too, the taste

Perched this week for Bonobo/Jacques Greene, Seb Wildblood again and Trudge! A couple more names here I'm not familiar with ~

I've gone for Bonobo & Jacques Greene. Just got tickets to Bonobo's tour date here in Cape Town in March (he's playing at our Botanical Gardens *.*) and this song has me hyped AF!

The bit at 2:34:

Yay voted for the winner again cheer.gif

This was a bloodbath 🤯 narrowed down my options to Bonobo/Jacques Greene and Trudge then went for the former, betraying my own BJSC alumnus x

Great: Trudge
Very good: Fountain Child, Bonobo
Good: Seb Wildblood, ABSOLUTE.
Decent: Mella Dee, 1-800 GIRLS
Mid: Harrison First

I thought my vote might have been going to one of the artists I didn't know but then Trudge snatchedT it at the last second kink.gif slapping as hard as ever <3 Fountain Child is a fab discovery though!

Bonobo's was really nice but not quite on the level of his last single for me, that was a high bar tho.

Playlisted the top 5, oop 1-800 GIRLS missing out a second time, not sure what's not fully clicking about their singles for me

Here’s my thoughts on this week’s selections;

1. ABSOLUTE. – Voices [Instantly loved this one, and I still begrudge not qualifying in 2021 with this artist in BJSC]
2. Trudge – Blood [This definitely stood out as a highlight from this week’s selections, another great find]
3. Seb Wildblood – vitara 3000 [I like the airy synths and the atmospheric vibes]
4. Bonobo & Jacques Greene – Fold [This was a nice chilled discovery this week]
5. Fountain Child – Between Two Worlds [This felt very mid-table, not bad but not a standout this week]
6. Mella Dee – Find Love Yourself [A decent effort I guess]
7. 1-800 GIRLS – Gd 2 Me [This got a bit too repetitive and annoying after a couple of minutes]
8. Harrison First – You [I didn’t really get into this one]
