UK Chart Run: 1-1-2-2-8-15-23-32-39-42-49-54-62-49-47-49-46-51-46-44-46-52-58-61-62-73-70-66-68-X-73-66-X-72R (32 weeks)

First to get the boot are 90s icons The Teletubbies. The children's TV series was a huge success so naturally a single had to be concocted to ride the crest of the wave. Mainly interpolating the theme tune of the show itself, the song debuted straight at #1. It was firmly in contention for the Christmas #1 too that year but ultimately lost out to the Spice Girls. What followed was a very lengthy chart run, albeit one that was mostly outside the top 40. It has sold over a million copies and is not far off the top 100 selling songs of all time in the UK. We should all be so proud.

"Various Artists"

Although it's pretty close between that and Elton for me.

Nah ridiculous result tbh! This Teletubbies slander is an OUTRAGE!

Voted for Will Smith again, although not fussed about the cover of Perfect Day either (Lou Reed solo version all the way) so don't mind if that goes first. If Elton's was just the Diana version of Candle In The Wind that would probably get my vote but SATWYLT is really nice.
